Chevy II based stuff. 4 and 6 Cylinders mainly. a Cohort of the early Econolines and A100 Dodges. Corvair's had longer front overhangs and differnet nose. Apparently they shared hubcaps. Corvair
That is totally bad ass Nate, glad you ran across it. I jumped my original '55 one time, kinda like that, on a RR overpass coming out of Frayser, Tennessee. The A-frames gave up on me the next week.
thanx guys... i guess i'll have to see it in person when it shows up later this week to see if i like the spotlight. the old owner says its kinda rare, its the sportvan model (windows) which only 1400 were made 700 green 700 yellow. this one is a so cal black plate surf van... vintage water transfers on back glass, old mooneyes tach, old surfboard roof rack. and yes its an inline 6 w/ 3 on the tree
that's cool! Here's redlines, small wedge in rear to give a subtle rake, spacer to kick out the rear wheel, maybe some sidepipes, and mild shave on the back... Oh yeah - needs a board on top. Like said before - instant Hotwheel
man ! that is an awsome van, now you just need a raincoat and some balloons, just kidding, i am envious
ah brings back memories,,, last van i had was my summer home, i installed a couch and pretty much lived in it. oh boy oh boy did the navy save me!
The only thing missing is the bumper sticker that says: "Don't laugh, your daughter might be in here!"
I had a 63 Econoline an a 66 Dodge van. A friend of mine had one like yours that had a 327 in it. Looks cool, post updates. Mick
Some nice velvet curtains, keep the spotlight, and the required by law decal "Don't Laugh, your teenage daughter may be in here!". Expect to be pulled over regularly.
gas, grass or ass bumper sticker was suggested by a friend... ithink that could result in some run-ins w/ the law. lol
Velma. You just know she is rude. Daphne would be too into looking good to play the beast with two backs.... P.
hodaddyo - what's up I just saw this thing for sale over on the 'bay? "Burnt out" on it already man...
A lowering and some Astros with skinny white walls would be the ticket. A GI on Vandenburg AFB gave me one of those and I sold it to a surfer kid over in Pismo Beach for $250 bucks.
