Pics wanted of Travis Barker's Cadillac

Yeah,I already thought so...Sprout is asking for pics of a '51...there once was a turquoise Caddy with shaved fins in American Rodder...is that the one ? I want to see the Cad NOW...!!!

 

The '54 is his, too. It was in Custom Rodder a few years back...I know cuz I shot it at Paso when it was D'Ago's. The '51 I have nothing on (and the '54 is all transparency film. Frenz's image is from Ron Kimball's studio session).

 

So this is the one out of A/R.It's visible in slow64's pic and it has shaved fins BUT it is a '53...

I agree that the shaved fins looks incredible but I happen to like the fins on my 53. Sorry it doesn't look like a 54 chevy but hey..it's a cadillac.

it's a great car. builder had great taste...builder and buyer I'm guessing.

 

thanks for these photos. I definately need to find my missing piece of trim. I don't like them with the verticle trim shaved. i was seriously temped to do it but after seeing this one on a "finished" car, I don't like it. (and I like my fins)

some guy at my work was showing me a DUB magazine that had like 4 of his caddies in it. the 54 and th 51 were both in there. I dont know if it was a recent one or not though

Of all the Caddys he owns, which ones had any of his ideas? Its cool to be able to buy any car you want because you got the ca$h, but when he was on MTV cribs about 4 years ago, he was saying WE put air bags on it WE chopped it while interviewing him and "CADSTAR" that was built by John D' years before he sold it to Travis. Just be real.

there are some photos of travis' caddies in a couple mags this month. Couple G' rags. Like DUB mag and something else. Best pictures I've seen of his caddies though. Not sure why but it seems like he hides them.

the 53 and 54 are two of my favorite caddies right now...minus the chopped fins on the 53.

 

Yeah, I was at Walgreens waiting on a presription and saw 2 different mags with his cars as cover features. They were RIDES and DUB.

That was last week, so you still should be able to pick em both up.

That '53 is really tough but why cut the fins off? They are what make a Lac' a Lac'!

 

i kinda find the guy to be a douche... he may be a nice guy.. but thats just my impression... anywho.. why in the hell.. would he take what im ***uming is the yellow cad... in to those ****in dumb***es at west coast customs... that wouldnt know good taste if it hit them in the face... and turn a car that started out amazing and **** it up?!!! thats all they do there any how... i have a term in mind that we call the **** they do.. but its not "PC".. lol

 

That gold 54 is THE reason I tracked down my 55. After seeing it inrod & custom I got a chubby and decided that was the sled for me.

 

I dont know about you guys but i think the transplants ROCK da house.

The Gold '54 is so damn inspirational! Dont hate on the guy because he is successful in the music business! If i could afford to buy built cars I would, as well as continue to build some of my own! Think about how you learned how to work on cars, maybe he hasnt had anyone to show him, or maybe he isnt mechanically inclined, I had to learn through friends and trial and error cuz I dont have the big buxs yet! Just cuz he buys 'em doesn't make him any less of a car guy!

the gold 54 is right on. i want the eldo though. it simply is just right.
