Well nobody suggested it yet...Root Beer. As pure and candy as you can with a real fine metallic base vs big flake. Do some "greek style" striping in bright orange and gold leaf to mix it all together around the door and window surrounds at the body. Someone needs to picshop that idea. Looks really *****in in my mind.

about any fall color will go ok with gold. Burn orange or candy tangerine, brown or rootbeer etc.

i say do white with scallops comming off the back of the wheel openings that are the same flake as the top and a red outline. you would be the pimp of the old folks home gary!
as far as the pink comments go about us hood ratz, i could see why that color brings us to mind. we are the only club in this town GETTIN ANY! and as for the derelict from the south side, that little rainbow comment you made, i'd think twice about crossing dodge street for a while. (well, at least til saturday night when we get together for the show!)

First, shave it, then Rootbeer candy with gold and brown fade panels ( like this racecar Har**** did http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1926990&posted=1#post1926990). I'm so sick of people keeping all the interesting stuff on the ROOF! Bring it down where people can dig it!

 

I was at work on the 1st reply. My take on greek style striping is a wide stripe 1/4 to 1/2" bordered on both sides by 1/16th to 1/8th. So, if it came up the center of the hood wider than normal, split in 2 at the W/S and run it down both sides, wrap it around the back and turn it into symetric scallops, shorter on the outsides to a long center, then finishes at the bottom of the gate from one side to the other, but only from the center scallop.
