John, Getting a Ty-Rods registration form now isn't like the old days where you had to be on the list to get in. The excitement of waiting for it to come in the spring and then having to get it right back out in the mail to save your spot was half the fun. Just see how many of the registration forms end up in your car at events during the summer. It's still one of the best East Coast gatherings for vintage, nostalgia & history cars...but that mistique of the old show is long gone! Yea, I'll probably be there. LSM
My birthday is the day before. Never been before, but maybe I'll make the trip out (car less) this year as a spectator.
Ok I see the complaining begins, lol, like Keith said,it's still one of the best on the East Coast,so you bet I'm going. And yes they sent the form out way to early this year,i fucked up,it came like 2 days ago,and my dad had to tell me it was the form.So come on guys,no complaining, lets all be there.
I must be thinking of a different show then, or this isn't their website... PDF flyer http://www.ty-rods.org/pdf/flyer2007.pdf
Thats great Mike,I was hoping you would.I know your still have the knee problems, but I still hope to see u out in your hotrod as much as you can this year. Also the cruise at Easton is next week,so if the weather is good,I may have to take a ride in the roadster.
Well this will be the 35th one my truck's been to and my form already has been sent. Don't forget to order your Th Anniversary license plate topper Dennis
one of the few things i miss about the northeast is the tyrods show// i traveled from eastern long island every year to go
Who's on first?? I just figured out you guys are talking about the "Old Timers" meet in Mass. NOT the Stafford Springs SWAP MEET. Correct?
It says invite only on the flyer but then there is a link to the registration form on their site. Does that mean anyone can bring their car into the show? http://www.ty-rods.org/pdf/form2007.pdf
Ok did i miss it on the flyer, where does it say that they are only letting 1000 cars in there,it doesnt make sense, they can fit a hell of alot more cars in this place they are in now,and knowing those guys, that should want more cars,to make more money.
They put the limit on there to scare you into pre-registering. I don't think they've had to cut off the gate since they left Hudson, MA. Last year they were dropping reg forms in cars at various cruise nights the week before the show.
