Was at a local Churchs' Charity Bike/Hot Rod show today and this full-a-plenty Barris Tagged "Rat Rod" of a thing showed up. It had tags on the side, radiator shell, on the skull on the front, on the dash....

Now im not bagging on the car cause it's not right (definitely not my taste), but rather confused and hugely dissapointed since my knowledge of Barris' history of Customs....Is he now "tagging" cars of this nature.

It had Tombstone Kustoms on the side (see pict of balding head dude). Fibergl*** body, radials all around, disk brakes in front, some crazy/un like-able steering setup....

    Take a look...

    Opinions?

By the way, the HAMB Chop Car took 1st place against lowriders, mini-trucks, rat rods and a trailer queen (56 Chevy) :)

It does go well together, its just the red wheels/flatblack thing thats a turn off for me anyways, but it is clean and looks well built so i will give the credit for that.

Barris has not built a car in years. He does not have a body shop any longer but rents the back of his showroom to a collision shop. The cars which he might still design, are either built privately or have been built in **** Deans shop with Barris badges attached. And for other cars, Barris badges can be purchased whether you have a Barris car or not.

Other than a few details, I think it's a pretty neat car. I'd be happy to drive it.

The details and the paint and wheel color can be changed pretty easily if wanted.

In that closeup of the Barris crest that frame looks a bit Frankenstien to me. I don't mean that in any good way.

Whats even funnier is that if you're into Hotrodding at all you're already different. The gimikey **** like the tall shifters, Skulls anywhere and everywhere, satin paint, spiderwebs/gaudy-outlandish pinstriping on every surface, chopped to within an inch of its life, channeled the rest of the way to death, sitting on the floor garbage just makes em look like posers and attention starved little kids.

I'm not saying that any of these things are bad, but if some is good, alot doesnt always mean better.
