Today was one of those one step backwards days. We realized the rollcage was a bit tight in the shoulder area so we decided to cut the old cage out and redo it. It ****s cause we worked so hard on the old one and really liked it from a style point of view, but in a rollover situation our shoulders were too close to the outside tube. Heres Steve and Bill setting the tubes on the second cage Rusty parts here on the Hamb stopped by with his young daughter. It was fun to meet more Hambers. Sorry we were so tied up in our work, but I did manage to take time to have his daughter take a photo op on the back of the Finkosels Brother Rat Fink... Cute Kid! By days end we managed to get the new cage tacked in, and it really provides a lot more shoulder protection. Bellytanks are really tight! I'm beginning to realize what a job we have on our hands.
