Any 55 Cameo's out there?

I'm picking up another project this weekend. I finally got my 50's chevy truck. It's a 55 cameo. DOes any one have one on here. I might need some help locating parts. Thanks. I'll post pics When it's all safe and home.

A place that you might check out for help with parts or advice on old Chevy trucks is the Stovebolt Page, www.stovebolt.com. It's a site for pre-73 Chevy and GMC trucks. Good people there. I'm there myself, same screen name.

I had a 56' and a 58', the bumper pieces can be hard to find, along with the tail lights. Someone on Fee-bay does sell aluminum replacement tail lights occ***ionally though, if you are okay with that. They are cool trucks, kind of wish I'd kept my 56'. Good luck.

 

Still one of the best looking pickups around. I had a 56 for 12 years and wish I had another one. Trim parts are out there, but they aren't cheap unless you're lucky. If I remember my numbers, they made about 5200 in 55, 1460 in 56, 2200 in 57 and 1405 in 58, so they are a very rare truck today.
