Looking for any info, pics or any links in reguards to the windows. Tried a search found nothing. What is the cleanest way to keep the windows up and open the door? I'm going to use the old slide in method in the quarters but the fronts? (No vent window).

Here, let me sum the following replies up for you real quick...

"Don't do it! Shoeboxes don't look right hardtopped!"

"Don't do it! Shoeboxes don't look right hardtopped!"

"Don't do it! Shoeboxes don't look right hardtopped!"

"Don't do it! Shoeboxes don't look right hardtopped!"

**then someone posts the right pic, and it looks *****in'**

"Well ****, that one looks good. But still don't do it!"

So I'll cut to the chase...
I want to say that this car is a flat, tannish color now.

There was a nicely done white 50? in Vegas this year. I don't think I have any pics of it though. Hradtopped shoeboxes are nice but the chop has to be low enough to keep the proportions IMO.

Unless you run a window set up like the Matranga and Hirohata mercs with a permenant window channel that stays in place when the windows are down I'm not sure. Every picture you see of a hard topped shoebox seems to have the windows rolled down. The other thing you could do is put power windows in it and have them operate with a remote so you close the door with the windows down a bit and then use the remote to close them.

Sweet car. I always thought the sail panels looked too thin and the transition to the w/s post was too drastic. But that's just me...
