    Notice how much the profile changes when you place a '27 on '32 rails. When you use a T or A frame you get a much longer thiner profile, but when placed on '32 rails it becomes more "cozy" looking and no longer needs to be so close to the ground. I prefer the '32 frame look but the long low look of the thinner rails has been a mainstay of rodding from the earliest years. I realize that's a "no brainer" statement but my point is that the look has not been abandond just because there is an option that offers a more substantial base.
