THEM! Est. 1960?? Crazy Drawing from the 60's

Bobby got an email from Sandy from the choppers who found this crazy
drawing in a old Hot Rod mag from the 60's...Were we reincanated from
the 60's??? wierd stuff..

Just some random drawing in a hot rod mag...Some one must of saw
the movie and drew it up...

Funny cause our original drawings were of an ant driving a hot rod
even the Texas chapter drew somthing up sorta the same...

who would of thunk it.

I got to find that,,,its just crazy that we were sitting around trying to
figure out a name for our club and some guy in 61 was drawing that image
using the THEM theme...wierd..

I drew up something for a flyer for a party we never had.

 

Doesn't seem so strange considering the name "THEM!" comes from the 1954 movie.

(It's a great name, by the way. Probably the best club name ... ever.)

 

Damn alien is running Radials too.

Here's the modern version behind MarkX's old car.

 

The aliens had much more advanced tire technologies than we did here on earth. They say earth was one of the last planets to get radials.

My first thought when i saw the plaque for the first time was, damn, why didn´t i think of that!

A funny thing is that in Sweden the movies original ***le was "Spindlarna" it means "the spiders" even though it is about mutaded ants, i have no idea why!
