Un-freakin-real! He was a Southern Illinois boy. JOE P.S. I don't think I'll ever get tired of seein' pix of yer ol' truck, ROCK...
Joe, yer Dad's gonna kick yer butt when he sees that you stole the family photo album! Wicked truck! Just tell Rocky to quit tryin' to copy your old man!!
Joe....one of the most fun times I had with that ol truck was in Kansas City. Had my brother and T-man with me and it was the night before the Kansas City Speed and Power meet. We were staying at one of the high-buck hotels and we scored Valet parking. We were in the basement parking garage with the Rocky 33 and I was doing do-nuts on the smooth, slippery concrete floor and the bell-boy comes down. He was a great big young kid and wondered what we were doing. I asked him if he wanted to go for a "lap" and he kinda grins and says "Sure!" He squeezes about 300 lbs of himself in the passenger seat and I gave him a little spin around between the poles....sideways. The straight pipes were pretty loud down there inside the building and when he got out, he couldn't get the grin offa his face...cracked me up!...... I was just glad one of his number 13's didn't go through the wood-paneling floor...
Rock, that last post brought back memories! That truck was LOUD in that parking garage! I think I need to go watch our tape of the weekend.
Sounds like you're lucky your own right foot didn't go through, the floor, ROCKY. ...and, Real hotrods have wood floors. JOE
Yea Rocky... I'll never get tired of seeing those damn pics. Thanks again for all the pics you posted for me when I was asking about your truck. I fell in love and now my current project is a '33 cab. I choped it 6.5 in the rear and 7.5 in the front, I wanted an extream chop! Its gonna be channeled over deuce rails. I would like two have it ready for indy '05. but anyway.. Love that truck. Hammer Hank
