Can't remember who drew it. Was telling a friend about it and he'd like to see it. Can't find the thread with it. Who did it or does anyone remember the thread? It was a while back. Thanks!

That Looks Amazing! It Could Even Be Adapted To A Lakes Modified Or A Really Cool Pickup. I Like It!

My '30 Model A Pickup is getting an early Ford 8N tractor grille shell and hood. The hood will be widened and filled to fit the shape of the cowl. I figure it'll look good with a Y-block poking out the sides...much like this flattie powered 8N tractor, heh

Wow! I missed this earlier. Super nice work! What a bitchin' idea. After seeing this, it seems a wonder that nobody back in the day thought of something like this.

    Thanks for reviving this thread.

I've got a B&W photo of my grandfather with his friends Flathead-powered chopped Model A Pickup with an 8N front end on the salt circa 1958. He raced his ol shoebox to 97mph out there and said the tractor-nosed pickup never got to make a pass due to the flathead's ignition acting up.

I'll see if I can dig up and scan the photo...it gave me the inspiration to build my A pickup in a similar manner.

  9. Try to find that, there was some tractor-grill bashing going on around here a while back, ought to shut up the nay-sayers.

Where can I find more info on Zombie, the artist?
