What's up w/ the LOT?

 

I will. I am building the fillers for the back window (moved forward 6") and the quarters. Then it is finish welding and make the windows work. Still havent decided if i like the line on the quarter window yet...

the Lot......jesus. It has been a long wait for that sob. I had to cancel my order with the first company i worked with and started the process with another. I am going to look at/approve the proofs as soon as i leave work and then it is supposed to be 5-7 days. Might make a good car/mag debut in two weeks at the idiots.....

I took a bunch of pic's last tuesday night,but accidently deleted them! I noticed that nobody else was taking pictures too. I'm gonna bring my camera from now on. Sorry guys. I usually take pic's of all the new guys who show up,not all the regulars who come every week. If more of the SoCal HAMBers would come and visit,there would be more pic's. Some guys are finishing their cars,one went into the Navy,a couple had kids(DiamondDave and FoMoCo MoFo),one is always on vacation(IrishMike)another is always away on business(5051)HellboundGasser is chopping his car,53Burb is cutting Jesses lawn,Bud is training for the Tour De Fontana,Jimmy White has a shop to run,but still found time to visit. Maybe i'll post the updated list of HAMBers who have come and hung out.

 

He actually goes by Diamond,but I call him Diamond Dave. I know Richard D is cool. I've read many of his posts. No offense dude.

i wonder what happened with some of those on the list.

 

I don't know. Most of them said they would come again. Maybe they are "summertime cruisers". The weather is getting better,so maybe they will come back.

 

I am going to try and make it back out, I have been pretty busy. Maybe next week.

My lifes a vacation. Forgot to add, I received a big bonus and more vacation time at work because of the good job I do when I'm there.

 

alright, i'm going to try and be their next tuesday and i may be bringing my brother with his wifes '61 t-bird but we have some work to do to it this weekend before we get it back on the road.

Okay.... give everyone enough time to plan.... tentative mag release party in two weeks... just signed off on the proofs today. He said 5 bus. days for production so not next tuesday but the one after. I buy pizza and sodas and you have two weeks so no excuses.....

I'm still here...just having MAJOR problems with the guy doing my air bags...Looooong story.....Anyways, as soon as my car gets off the ground and I get off my ass...I'll be back down!!

hey rob its coming along great. its hard to believe its the same car my dad and i drug down from the middle of nowhere.

just so people have a before shot this is what it looked like when i brought it home.

 

Damm Bob cant believe you forgot me on that list...........but I guess thats all you old folks have to look forward too.......... is making list. So everone can tell you what you forgot

 

I've been there carless and early. I'll try and make it again sometime.
