The Stolen Pontiac Engine and Trans. Have Been Found! The cops got a tip this morning, went to check it out, and sure enough the dumb basterd was try to put the engine and tranny in his car. And they believe that all the other stuff that was stolen is there too. So hopefully Paul will be getting most if not all of his stuff back, especially the Motor.

I just wanna say thanks to all tha H.A.M.B.ers out there for all there support and feedback, and overall willingness to help a fellow rodder in need. And I guarantee all you TEXAS guys will be seein a sick black Model A w/ a friggin badass Pontiac 400ci engine in it real soon.

    Thanks, Steve

Nice! Lots of times that turns out the other way and you never see your stuff again.

Best thing (besides recovering the engine & plasma cutter etc) is that a real jackass got taken off the street before he stole more stuff from others as he needed it.

  19. YEAH DUDE! glad you recovered your stuff. well did you know the asshole? make sure you get a pic and post it so everyone else knows who he is. makes you want to shoot the asshole but running them over is way more fun!

I'm glad you caught him. I caught a theif once and it was a great feeling sending him to jail.

Almost 100% of the time when you send a thief to jail he just learns how to do a better job of stealing when he's released. This was told to me by one of Michigan's top State Police detectives after a breakin at my shop in the 70's. It seems that once a person has learned to take things he didn't earn and profiting from it, it's a VERY hard habit to break. No wonder some countries remove the hands of a thief, it helps in the rehabilitation program. If caught again they are hung. End of rehab.
