I have one for sale. It's listed on HotRodHot line. Had a guy 6'3" - 300# in it with plenty of room. PM me for more info or pics.

    hi,a friend o mine is buildin a real steel one 41,with a 392 injected hemi ...

don't have exactly size of 6.3 ,we measure in metrical way...but looks to me is pretty tight for a guy so tall....

inside is very small, looks like a toy....good for me for short trips, but long distance will be not comfortable ...my opinion.sled

I have a 38' Willys pickup, same cab 37-41, and I am 5'8" 190lbs.....just right for me. I kinda think over 6' would be pushing it.
I've seen a couple with small V-6's in them to accomodate not pushing the firewall back, kinda defeats the purpose of a hotrod in my opinion. My best friend is 6'3" 300lbs and he sat in it, but not for very long.
Not trying to burst your bubble but definately want you to be able to enjoy what you build.

I have a real steel '40 Willys pickup. It's set up nicely as far as column placement, seat, etc. I'm 5'11", and I've driven it over 2 hours without a break, but it's definitely tight quarters! I consider it basically a "short trip" vehicle.

For parts try "willysreplacementparts.com". I've gotten a few small parts from them. The quality is good, and there aren't alot of options for repro parts out there.

    Good luck!

As far as repro parts Vinnie at the Willyworks has treated me well. They are located in Liberty NY.

Had a 40 Wilys pickup. The front seat was a escort station wagon back seat and had no room what so ever. Of all the streetrods I've owned my hated the Willys the most. Aside from no room, the air noise over the cab was unbearable. My advise would be to forget about the project. Been there done that and won't do it again.

  11. I'd give my left nut for a Willys pickup. I doubt too many of the guys here care about a comfy street rod with no wind noise. Geez. Probably didn't have a cup holder either did it? Shit. It's a Willys pickup for Christ sake.
    Better drive a Yukon.

a friend of mine has one which i believe to be a 41. IT has about as much room as a s10 inside. 6 3 would be a tight fit.

couldnt tell ya about a willys but just an idea for more leg room. Im my truck I still have the stock bench seat but i took the back out and sat right against the back of the cab. Im gonna build a thinner back so i sit back farther. Im 6'3 and had lots of room then. but I dont know if the willys cab would be alot shorter or not.
