Does anyone know who now owns this '30 Model A coupe. It came from Kannapolis, NC. and was last sold to a guy in Maryland. I built the car and had to sell it and I would like to try and buy it back. Please ask your friends and drinking buddies if they know anything about it. Save these pics and email me if you find the car later on in the summer at a car show or something. jmo28081@yahoo.com .Please HELP!!! Thanks, Michael:

I'm thinking the last owner sold it around Nov. Dec. of 2006. It was pictured in the Goodguys Gaz. at the Charlotte Oct. 2006 show, but was sold after that.

The car is all Ford with an 289, C-4, 8" rear. It has an 8" chop and the frame is Z'ed front and rear. It also has malteese cross tail lights.

The car also has a louvered rumble seat lid. A spun aluminum fuel tank. A '46 International truck grille turned upside down. '31 Lincoln 11 1/2" headlights. Please write down my email address and contact me if you spot the car at a show or see it in a magazine or sale paper or cl***ified somewhere. Thanks everybody, Michael Overcash, Kannapolis, NC

I don't miss many shows in the area. I don't recall ever seeing it. It's kind of distinctive. If I do I'll be sure to holler.

The car was finished in 2004. Just getting the word out, here at the beginning of show season. I know threads move pretty fast on here and some people don't get on here everyday. I guess you never had a chance to buy back a car you wish you hadn't sold. Sorry I bothered you guys.

Do you know where it was sold in Maryland?
We have several cruise nights in the area and a big show coming up in July, so I'll keep on the lookout in my area.
Been to a couple of shows, this year, but have not seen this car.

No, I wish I did. The Malteese Cross you see on the visor is cut through the visor and pinstriped around the edge. That might help ID it, as well as the '64 VW dash. Thanks

The DMV or your insurance company may still have a vin# for it on file if you dont.
If you could get somebody to run the vin# for you that might steer you in the rite derection

You might want to try tracing it through the Goodguys Headquarters who surely still keep the roll of participants of each of their events. You could look for all 30 coupes and go from there. Just a thought. If you have any trouble, PM me.

    Good luck!

heres some newer pics--I know how to contact the guy--but you better be quick-- he told me he was going to "ratrod" it and paint over the blue with flat black.I saw real pics of the car and the paint looked WAY better than these digi's.He also is putting a flathead motor in it.. If you can get it back and it has the flatty in it. contact me --i should have never got rid of her.(the motor)
