Picture request of drum brakes ( drilled backing plates )

    I just scored a pair of 40 backing plates , & want to give them the swisscheese efect . Want to see some pictures . Also I welcome any advice .

    Here's the ones I drilled for my A.

    I run fenders so you can't really see them on the car.

    I spent 20 minutes with a sharpie and a small washer making patterns
    and spacing before I finally decided on the Fan.

    Heres a pic of the ones going on my coupe. I cant take credit for the holes though. These were given to me by a friend. They Came off of the Wright/Blairs roadster that they ran in Bonneville in 54. I guess they use to just stand on them and drill them..HAHA old school.

    Thanks everbody for pictures . cranium69 e-mailed me pictures & blueprints , so i'm going with his design . Can be duplicated easy with digital readout on mill , he has done all the hard work , Ill just be drilling . I have already drilled axle , split wishbones , frt motor mounts that fit in corners of frame & frt crossmember ( 265 chevy ) , & sun visor . Sorry don't no how to show pictures. Thanks again cranium69
