Well after almost trading the 38 Coupe for a 32 last weekend and dragging yall into a pole of what I should do about the two it looks as though the hot rod gods have spoken and have answered my prayers of having both affordably. The venture started on thursday night on the break of the biggest swap meets in Texas. I ahd to make a decision, 1 leave arly work on Friday to go to Pate or 2 leave work to go to Arkansas. I tossed a coin and called my pops to see if he was up for a road trip Friday morning at 8:00 am. Well yuo can quess and we ended up heading the opposite way of the swap meet to head to what i hoped to be a 32 Sedan I was searching for. I had seen pics and had my fingers crossed hoping it would be the one. We rolled into Benton, Arkansas aroung 5:00 pm friday with cash and trailer. The car was about as expected and the seller had told everything about it and was very honest. He actually is a luker her on the Hamb. He had a really nice 32 roadster and a 3w 32 he was starting on. Anyhow back to the 32, it ****ed me in 100%. There is just something about a 32. It can be the best shape or the worst shape and you will want it. We ended up loading it up, Good sedan body in need of full patches, a stock 32 frame, good center and rear crossmebers, good stock pedals and v8 gas pedal heavy axle, 32 spindles, etc. I will get to hone in on my patch work and chopp work. It will be a good tool for me. Hopefully I can keep it slow so I dont kill myself but it sure would be cool to do the Roundup 08 in it, We will see I got to get Brokenspoke's Sedan there first. Anyhow I know yall want to see so her she is. Plans are

    Flathead
    39 trans
    V8 rear
    Juice brakes
    4" Chopp
    Gloss black frame
    Satin Black Body
And a back seat with tow sets of seatbelts for the kiddos

The best part of all for me is my wife is happy about it and actually said it looked cool to her. Big thanks to Danyelle, all the voters on the poll, the Hamb, and my pops for going out with me to get it. I think he has pics of getting it in the trailer for the first time

Thanks I got to get up in three hours for work and I cant go to sleep because of this. Lost a few nights sleep last week contemplating the trade. Glad it is finally over for now. Now I can stress on all the parts I am going to need

  10. It'll all be worth it, now. Regardless of the stress, you know it's gonna be the cats meow when it's done. I'm gonna go out on a stretch & ask if you think you'll go black on black on black. That would look ***s.

Great score, I know you'll do it justice! And you get to keep the '38, which rules.

    Congrats on your new find...

I know what it feels like.... and I'm glad you didn't have to sacrifice the '38 to get the Deuce.

Congrats dirty. Damn solid looking body with all the hard to find parts included with it. Looks like about what I started with many moons ago. Sounds like you have a good game plan for it also. Keep us posted on your progress so we can follow the build.
