Seems like I've read somewhere that you can take a sample of paint from lowes and get a color match with this. Is this ok? Thanks again
Yes you can, and your latex painted hotrod will be a real trendsetter. It would be best to use a pinetop to apply the paint, and after dry cut off the "icicles" hanging from the rockers and fender edges with a pair of dykes.
make sure that you get kelly moore, that stuff is great! I find that using taping mud to fill all of your fender seams before you paint works well too.
LoL...Funny Shit Are you saying you found a color you like at Lowe's and want some auto paint made to be the same color?? Or you want to match your car to you living room baseboards??
He just heard about all the new waterbased paints and figured Lowes was the place to get them. Ya know because of no more solvents.
. Too late, its already been done. My exwife's boyfriend painted his 1941 Dodge with Latex exterior paint. He even sprayed it. It gives everyone a good laugh. The only problem is everytime I am with the club they remind me that I was once married to her.
