Wow what a swap meet, I had a great day. I
I bought four brand new mudder tires for my ATV, a refrigerator, a pair of snowshoes,an almost new lawn mower. I had to pass on the 3 wheel ATV though as the guy wouldn't bargin but I did get a set of real nice leather saddle bags for my honda 90.

I did also see some car parts though.

Yeah Bob, there was a lot of toys and Taiwan tools and household shit and 80's S-10 parts to sift through, I noticed that as well.

However, I did find a set of S&M foglights (gotta love them just for the name!), a real decent Trippe light for $30, some random trim shit for my '57 Chevy, one '36 Plymouth wheel that I've been looking for to complete my set, a real cool Blue Streak adjustable finned aluminum voltage regulator for $3, and some other assorted junk.

Friend of mine that came along found taillight lenses for his '36 Plymouth and there was an unrestored '36 just like his in the corral which he took a ton of pictures of to see how his is supposed to look like, definitely a beautiful and successful day on Sunday. Lasted longer than usual too.

    And a big bar.

Sarcasam is a little hard to express in print. I see that you got it and so did Todd & Squaw.

It was a great and sunny day though, ran into a ton of folks that I hadn't seen all winter and a whole bunch of HAMBer's. Forgot all about the meet and greet though.

Oh Yeah, & a BIG BAR

I kept trying to find a s-10 5 speed tranny for my T bucket, but never found one for the right price (under 100 bucks)

  16. Yeah, what was up with the M&G. Is the Hamb dead in WI?!?

I bought two big bars, one on Sat and one on Sun and a $4 brat. I bought a huge pile of new hose clamps for cheap and tried to buy a set of FE cast headers from a guy who thinks Jefferson is spelled E-B-A-Y.
Sell, sell, sell, that was the theme of this year's event. Sold a '62 Bel-Air on Sunday and a '65 galaxie convert on Sat. Couldn't get myself to part with much of the three inch stack of 100s in my pocket.

So as for meet and greets, I will give all that were not in attendance an opportunity for redemption. I will be having an open house at my shop in Oshkosh thursday, May 17th starting at about 5pm. BYOB or get some out of my soda machine. I will have some munchies, tunes and hopefully a small car show.
    Later

Dammit Boy !!! It must be spring. The geezers are starting to come out of the woods. Yeah, this geezer had to work.( work is the curse of the drinking class). But I'm sure gonna try and take Cliffy up on his invitation. Looking forward to meeting a few H.A.M.B.ers I haven't met yet. Hey Bob, I finally got a set of nice original horseshoes. Anybody need a '51 powerglide, I got one you can have. Me and Carguy took it out and I'm getting sick of tripping over it. I can bring it as far as Cliffy's. Hate like hell to scrap it and find out later someone could have used it..........OLe Pork
