So what would you do to make a grand or two a month?

not sure what I WOULD do but I'm starting to think what I SHOULD do is charge my buddies rent on all the tools they keep borrowing. lol....seriously though, you could make easily 2k a month swapping motors at home. Get in good with a tow truck driver and you'll have more work than you can handle

I've been doin' 20/25 hours a week at the licquer store, temp/part-time, along side my 45 hours at the office. Outta there by 9pm, and no Sundays. Sucks on the time side, but a grand a month in my hot-rod budget. Spousal unit understands that the household ain't seein' a nickel of this cash.
    Works for me, for now.

    Hi Mike

when you find your in need of some change talk to me about your 1930 dodge .

i find i can live on 400 dollars a month thats allowing me very little extra . only reason i can do this is cause the house is paid for and i dont have a family to support

14 years ago i bought a sewing machine and some material and built a balloon. last year i grossed almost 800,000 with two full time employees renting and selling advertising balloons. three years ago i was able to buy the building that i had rented for 7 years. this all started out so i could make a little extra pocket cash for myself.
not trying to sell you anything but take a look at my site www.rooftopballoons.com also depends on how many other companys are in your area doing the same thing

    Good luck on your venture

UPS my friend it takes 90 days to get started on the INS but after that its completely free you start at around 10 an hr atleast here in ks and around 20 hrs a weeks.
I use to work there but went in to painting but a good friend has been there 20 yrs and he builds hotrods out of his garage n the afternoon for a nice chunk of change and has a list of people waiting.

I want to make cool affortable, working "speed" parts for vintage engines just like they did...or rather experiment in the old days. It may take off, it may not, but either way, its going to be fun. :)

Do the e-bay thing! I'm to chicken-shit to try it full time but do well when I run auctions. I buy complete cars cherry pick the best parts then crush the rest. I try to buy cars in the $100- $500 range. You will need to do your reseach on e-bay to see what sells for a good profit . For instance, I bought a $5 set of headlamp buckets off of a 60 fairlane and resold them on e-bay for over $200, they are the same buckets that a 67 shelby mustang use. You also get to hunt for parts for your own projects while collecting e-bay parts. I also hit several swap meets a year for e-bay parts and also sell for a fee for local car club friends that hate computers. On average when I run 10 auctions a week I will clear $500. Good luck,Ron.
