Just got an eMail from Penny. Things are ahead of scheduled from last year, and we turned away over two hundred at the door in 06. So get them in quick, or they are gonna be too late. But . . . . If you send them "Overnight" DON'T request a signature. She won't wait in line to sign for them. The lines are to long at her post office. (bad knees) At this rate we will be sold out in another week. I will keep bringing this up until we are sold out so at least it won't be HAMBers being turned away. Craig
Yeah, I got turned away in 06, and it does suck especially when you set up at the A&W and you see a VW go by and a little later a 70 Chevelle and stuff like that when you are in a fifty Buick kustom at a kustom and hot rod show. I know in the old days Rich would not have done that it's kind of sad Rich's input is sorely missed.
yo rich, are you going to be at paso this year? i am fling in to LAX from Miami on friday and would like to meet up with you to check out your buick. Thanks. Yaril
sold out for general admission or to display your car at the show? this will be my first year going, unfortunately without my ride, i don't want to get turned away at the gate. whats the deal?
There is no charge for admission to look at the cars or watch the sat night concert. They are in a public park. Enjoy the show.
So, since you got turned away in 06' have you pre registered or are you going to wait until it's sold out again. I ask because I'm the guy stuck putting your name on a list with the other 100 or more people who thought they could just show up to a sold out show. That's why I post stuff like this. And if you saw a VW or a Chevelle in the show or the cruise in the last two or so years they snuck in. It happens. You see one in the park, come find me. You can watch me pull the sticker and kick em out. (unless they are a hall of fame member) can't help that. And if you knew anything about the West Coast Kustoms, you would know that Penny has been running things for a lot more than a couple years. Craig
