this is an old thread but its ok..
I looked at a few Rivis before I bought the Cad. I heard stories about the original Rivi was designed to be a sports model for Cadillac, but they decided to make it a Buick in the end..

I ran across this thread this am so I decided to go check on a 64 that I have been eyeballing for a while. Must have been at the right place at the right time for a change cause I hauled it home. It comes complete with shade tree so you can work on it anywhere. Elderly lady that sold it to me didn't know where the title was and didn't want to look for it. It belonged to her late husband. I got it home and found the owners manual and warranty book in the glove box along with the title!

I love the look - No way of getting tired of seeing it.

  27. I have had my Riviera for sale for awhile now in order to finance other projects but every time I take it out for a cruise or park it outside for a few hours when I need the room I get second thoughts on selling it...they are just a classic car with perfect lines from the factory

Ok this is a 1966 Buick... but I have always loved this wild Frank De Rosa creation.
