Well, its been a long time coming, but as of 3 o'clock today my coupe body became solid again. :D The p***enger side went on about a month or two ago, and the driver side today. As most of my buddies know, this has been a long process. Took six months to find the quarters, and they weren't cheap. Took another six months to figure out how the hell to do it! This was a first for me, and the guys who helped me. The pics are from when it was first found, to where it is today. HUGE thanks to Hellonwheels, Headhunter, and 3blapcam for all the help. Thanks to everyone else here who has given me advice and guidance.

the night pics of "as found" make me think you came across this one very cheaply, or freely?

Congrats man! It's looking really good! The patience and attention to detail really paid off putting on those rear quarters - they look awesome.

You tryin' to say I stole it? You've never gone out of town before to look at some car and just barely had enough daylight left to know that you want it? It was had cheaply, but definitely not "freely".

Looks great. I'm really impressed at the progress you've made and how well the car is turning out.

Nice job, I am going to doing the same thing very soon with my 32 5w. It didnt have any quarters on it =( but it was cheap. I have looked for 32 5w quarter for a coupe of months now and no luck. So it looks like im going to have to buy roadster ones from brookville.

I love it when a plan comes together. That and the smell of napalm in the morning.

Man is there a line for the frame table! That was the only reason I helped Mark! ;o) ...well that and it seems that it's my personal mission to bring dead model A's back to life.

It was worth it just to see Mark on cloud 9.

looking good, gives me some hope for mine, its in a very similar sad state as the start pics but perhaps worse, have some whole 1/4's with a inch or two out of the inner section round the trunk to graft on then it might be time to play with some metal forming machinery again.....
First need to get the cowl sorted, square and solid.
