I need help. Ive been bagging the 54 chevy sedan, and went to put the front suspension back together. One of the end caps on the inner pin for the upper control arm got stuck so I tried to use the impact to get it off, and it took the inner pin out of the spring hat. Now I cant get the new pin all the way back into the spring hat. Is there some sort of tool that Im supposed to use or what. Also why would the end cap have gotten stuck, how far are those end caps supposed to go on? I can take a couple pics if that would help. Thanks

  4. Look at the photobucket page attached to my signiture. The threads for the upper control arm shaft are "interference" cut threads. They are supposed to be a ***** to get in. The chop manual kind of explains it but it is still a little weak. If you have any more questions let me know.
