Move the pile up to a better location,

Hello Slicks,
I have been told by a few fellow rodders that an oppertunity has surfaced to move the hunert car pile up to the North about fifty mile to an airport setting called Galt Airport in McHenry County, IL.

I have been to that airport and they put on a great car show...and have been told by the sponcer that old school type races could be done on the runway. OLD SCHOOL DRAGS

I am from the area and have attended the pile up at the current location and love way its done but hate the dust bowl that happens every year. Lets move the pile up around and even into different States.

Tom is not involved with the Pileup in any capacity whatsoever and is full of shit. The Pileup is not moving. He's just trying to ruffle feathers

 

Glad its not moving. Aside from the dust I think it's a perfect location.....now if it was just in Sept instead........

 

only thing i would change is the date!!! i think it needs to be on the second weekend of...every month!
but my liver may not take that very well!

 

I'm certainly curious as to exactly what a "smoth serface" is...???

Chad's father has absolutely nothing to do with the Pileup either. If you want to discuss Pileup options, I suggest you do it with one of the Czars before posting it here.

That airport already has a small car show there. It's their thing. They could not handle the size and insanity of the Pileup anyway.

We like Grundy Co. They're good people, and the town of Morris likes us and treats us well. The only downside is the dust... and we're working on that.

Again, I only stated what other are saying, And again I said that the event is really good. Dusty but really good. SO, If your offering the option for me to get involved I would make an effort and make a difference. Seems I have hit a nerve> maybe exspanding the show to a second location earlier in the spring when everyone is all hot on getting their cars on the road.

Sheesh..Rides with no paint, primer paint, under construction, and drivin' out in the real world with dust, and folks are complaining about a little dust. I'd just be happy with some 55 gal burn barrels we could have a fire in, to keep warm!!!!!

Why dont you just tell him the pileup isnt moving and be done with it. Seems the more you try to fuck with him the more your getting pissed. Seems like a waste of bandwith to me..

Hahaha, I see my Dad has let you in on his secret plan for world domination and his first step is to move the Pileup to a less dusty location.

Fret not! We are working on ways for a less dusty solution at Grundy County Speedway and making a better/more efficient layout for everyone to have a good time.
