I would guess '92 pushrods are longer than '54s. The '92 having a raised deck compaired to 331 and 354 motors.

Adjustable pushrods? Do you mean Adjustable Rocker Arms?

  4. 392's are longer. Adjustable pushrods were used a lot on old engines when you wanted an adjustable valvetrain.

The 392 has a longer push rod than the 331/354. The adjustable push rods were used for hydralic cam engines that had heads milled or block decked otherwise there was no adjustment on engines that were stock. The adjustable rockers were on the engines that had solid lifters.

    The 392 pushrods measure, Intake @ 10.125 - Exhaust @ 11.550.
    The 354 pushrods measure, Intake @ 9.625 - Exhaust @ 11.125
