agent orange update 406 sbc

well I killed the big block trying sort this pig out ,so I changed it to a 406 inch small block like i should have done from the start. Man this thing sounds killer, can't wait for it to quit raining so I can go see how it will run. Makes 507 ft lbs at 5000 and 583 hp at 6800. had the converter kicked up to 5500 rpm, so it should do all I want it . And now it is weighing in at 2210 with me in it.... hamb drags here I come...

Good luck with your new skinny block, it sure looks bitchn and 580 horse will probably get the job done.....but..can I talk you into ditching the gold valve covers???

So what kind of damage did you manage to do to the big block?

 

it just broke a roller lifter and a lobe off the cam, since it was out i bought this deal as i really wanted a small block in the first place. ill sell it since it was a real deal 4 bolt 396 ss nova mtr 69 date code 375 hp mtr.

 

man larry id like to but i havent made a full pass with it any where yet.

 

got some dart valve covers coming for it the gold will go ........
