This is a great internet radio website. You type in your favorite artist or song and it plays that and compiles a list of other songs that are similar and keeps playing. Very cool. http://www.pandora.com/ I typed in Link Wray and right now I'm listening to the coolest compilation of surf music.
should try : http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/ they make you sign up, no charge. Great live recordings and such, plus you can create your own playlist and store for later use.
Those are both great music site's, but they don't work if your work puts up the "firewall" like where I work ! ASSHOLES !
Thanks for the tip. I saw a special on the Los Lonely Boys from San Angelo and it's playing other artist with the same R&B style, nothing like good ole Texas R&B.
As long as I can listen to KIX, Dokken, Cinderella, Faster Pussycat and all the other true rockers I'm all for it. For some reason local radio has quit playing these long ago.
It says on the bottom of the screen, "Pandora is currently for US listening only" But it seems to work in the UK.
Pandora is Great..been doing it since about their second week.....you will see a thing on there to go and get your Senator and Reps to vote to keep internet Radio alive...this is not a scare tactic...if the Recording industry get their way with the new bills in Congress....there will be no More Internet radio At all!
just got on there. checking it out. so far pretty damn cool. one off topic post i'm realy glad i read. i was just bumming out because i left my boom box at work. thanks
I love Pandora....my brother turned me on to it about a year ago...It's always on as long as the computer is running...
I just brought this thread back up because Wolfgang's Vault has just released a Link Wray concert. You can listen to it or buy it and I know there are several Wray fans here. http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/...ource=NL&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=070620
