small update on my 52 chevy

Well after an uneventful turkey hunt this morning I decided to get on the stick with the ol girl. I finally got that old 216 beating again and she purrs pretty good for not running in 17 years. Still needs a few adjustments but we are on our way. Next on the list is the brakes and then we'll be on our way to the Rust Revival in all her bondo body glory( I hope) I just wanted to share cause to me it's pretty damn exciting to hear her run again.

 

Hey ol 53ASH and his ol lady TorqueWench58 got her truck running after sitting for 16 years and it purrs like a kitten now. Its amazing how those old motor can take a beating and somehow keep on ticking. Keep working them bugs out and you will not only have a running ride but a history with the ol gal as well. Good Luck

man thats awesome..i cant wait till my 50 chevy coupe is on the road..I am also keepin the 216 in it..i have allloonng ways to go but its gonna all be worth it in the end and again congrats to you....

 

Thanks guys, damn radiator has shot **** on me so it looks like it's trailer time to the Revival. We'll still be there!!!
