What's up guys and gals? I'm new to the HAMB and I thought I would say a quick hello. My name is James and I just moved to South Florida from Fresno, CA. I've been into cars for the past couple of years (still learnin'...a lot!) but I just bought my first car last month. I bought a 1950 Ford Shoebox, 2dr, flathead with overdrive....it sucks because I actually haven't seen the car yet so I know very little about it. I had my uncle checked it out and he says it's a pretty cool car. I have plans to chop it, bag it and paint it flat black. It's a lotta work for a beginner but I have to do it myself (may need some help from you guys!). Anyway...if anyone has any ideas on how to get my car down here...I'm open!

Hey Welcome - Try year round transportation - they brought me my car from Cali - Gene - 8007847951 they had a real nice enclosed car semi hauler built for cars. it weren't all that cheap but they was good
Thanks guys (and gal) for your replies! I'm sure I will need all of your help with my car in the future. Actually, I already need some help... I already have talked with BenD & JimC (really cool and helpful guys) about transporting my 1950 Ford from Missouri to Florida. Unfortunately, I think they are both booked for a while. Anyone else know of anybody that might want to do it? Reliable...reasonably priced...person or company? Not only will I pay going rate...I'll throw a big BBQ when you get here! Any takers?

RIOT CITY HOOD...shit...once RCH, always RCH. Only thing that changed beside my coast was that I actually moved into the hood here! You need parts? My neighbor has about anything you would ever need, in his front yard! '75 Chrysler to a '53 Maytag! You name it! I was plannin' on a sale next week...I just wait until he passes out on the porch every payday and take whatever I want! You need anything?
