    I bought a 64 Impala wagon yesterday and have many options on what to do wheels wise. I`m all for the whitewall look so I`m realy trying hard not to go the billet way. I`m not going to do the body right away, I`ll sport the faded white paint for a while. I`m thinking 15" white rims, dog dishes, 1.25 whitewall BUT 15x8 in the back with a grabberslick like Jimmie Vaughns Caddy. Throw me out some ideas along with some pics.

    Here's some of mine with a couple different looks;
    1) Hurst slicks and steelies on the rear with vintage fenton 5 spokes up front. For the racey look and goin to the track.
    2) Supremes and pinner white walls for the mild custom look.
    I'm kinda like you, painted the top but gonna drive it with the nicely patina'd original paint on the bottom till I am sure of what color to paint it. I also am a huge fan of chrome wheels and spider caps. Gary

    That Los Boulevardos C.C. site is great!!! I`m not a big fan of the Supremes but I seen a few 64 wagons with them and they are not as bad as I thought. One of my ideas is 17" chrome steelies, no caps, and black wall but I just can`t see spending that type of money for a wheel that most of the people won`t apprecate. I might throw some blue flake on top like yours and leave the rest alone for a while.

    I like the slicks and steelies above. White with dog dishes will also work. Just stay away from the bling.

    just got mine on the road yesterday. 205/75/15 on chrome smoothies. I thought about slicks in the rear also, but this optionwas more in my price range,[IMG]

    SS caps, skinny whites, and airbags.
