39 plymouth coupe

    i am trying to get this car,i been thinking hard about selling my 41ford to get it,i need a change, i have had the 41 16 years and haven,t touched it in a couple years,
    i know the headlites have to go, it has a 6 cly chevy in it .pic of my 41 is in my profile,

    The quad headlights are cool, an old custom trick.

    they would be ok if there wasn,t anything esle on the car,i got a set of old guide lites that were sold back then,to change the 39 stock lights to sealed beam.squablow what do you think of the car? there,s only two cars i ever really wanted and that,s a 56 ford vicky and 39 plymouths

    I agree. A '39 Chrysler was at the top of my list when I got my '40. A '39 Plymouth is just as good, plus it's a coupe. Looks like a winner to me. All the way on the ground, full wheel skirts, lots of chrome and a Fulton visor. No 350/subframe/mag wheel **** for this car.

    thats what i would do if i end up with the plymouth. i never been a big lover of sub framing. way gas is i think i would leave the 6 cly in it. aren,t the little side windows on the chryslers differant then the ply? one,s behind the driver?i was thinking smaller
