Does anyone know anything about this event? Is it going on? I have been to the website www.rockabillyrodreunion.com and it never gets updated. I have e-mailed them several time with no responce. The website says info coming in march, well this is may. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Is this even a good event to go to? This would obviously be my first one of this show. Thanks in advance for any info.
I went to the event in 2005 it was pretty cool. Last year I didn’t go because it was raining and I didn’t feel like driving my roadster in the rain from San Diego to Vegas. The drag racing was definitely really cool. The show had a wild mixture of hot rods, rat rods (theme rods), customs, sleds, g***ers and bikes new and old. It was definitely a crop of cars I don’t see in So-Cal and I go to about 20 cars shows a year. I heard some car club (can’t remember who) was involved in 2005 and dropped out. Now John from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway puts it on. I sure if you call the strip they will give details. Not the best show but definitely a hot rod show, and to me that makes it worth going if you can.
Jeff, been wondrin' the same thing what with the website etc.......coming over from the UK for a mates' wedding,n definately wanted to include it in a visit...........i've heard mixed reviews, but i'll just be stoked to even be there..........website update would be handy tho.

The last Rockabilly Rod Reunion is alive and well. We apologize -- some very large projects put us behind the 8-ball and promotion started very late. The website is updated: www.RockabillyRodReunion.com. If you need more info, please contact me directly. Nick Benson and I are once again at the promotional helm (we were not involved last year). Everything is posted on the speedway's website (www.LVMS.com) too. My office number is (702) 632-8231 and office e-mail is jbisci@lvms.com.

JMHO" Everyone is en***led to their opinion, but when you visit our website (www.rockabillyrodreunion.com), please click on the Gallery link to photos from last year's show and tell me how many cars with 20" spoked wheels you see...
