Hopefully this'll work on here. My brother-in-law sent this to me, and I thought you all might get a kick out of it. There is at least one guy transporting a car here, so hopefully it'll be allowed to stay. Some of these are flat out crazy!

    Enjoy!

Sorry there's so many. Just some of these are out there, and worth the head shaking factor alone.

    Again, enjoy!

I hope I got this attached properly? This picture was taken from a car :) I guess the lesson here is that if you are a deer hunter don't get a DWI :)

I lived in the Philippines, and took a leftover WWII jeep to work everyday....cost me seven cents for the ride.....along with eight other passengers and chickens, dogs, etc etc etc. I don't know which was more fun, being crammed inside, or hanging on for dear life on the outside.....Gimme a SanMiguel, and I'll do most anything.

Ha! I have a bike just like this. They are made in Mexico by a company called Mercurio and called "Tricyclos" in local slang. I found mine all derelict in the back of an El Paso bike shop and fixed it up.

You see them made into all sorts of rolling resturants, scrap trucks and mobile shops. Never saw anyone do that though, now I know how to haul old shells:D

Having been to China, I can say that you'd be surprised how much stuff with "Made in China" stickers on them travel by bicycle at some point between the factory and the boat. Most factories find that they can pay someone to ride their bike up and down the hill all day much cheaper than they can buy a truck. These scenes really are the norm there, not the exception. (Well, except maybe the car!)

I spent a number of years behind agricultural parts counter. A guy sent his wife to town to get a 30' long sickle for his combine, she brought her Linclon Town Car. After a little head scratchin, we wired it to the frame, under the car, front to back. It stuck out about five feet on each end and away she went. Nothing is impossible with enough baling wire.

Chaddilac, I need to sandblast the wheels to get'em ready to paint. You got such a critter? If not, I'll be working with a neighbor in a few weeks when he gets home and then get it done. Right now, budgetary cutbacks are causing a work stoppage on the garage toys... for the most part anyway.

can you imaging crossing a bridge like that in the US while holding a kid with one arm... the news media would scalp you... thats a lot more dangerous then holding a kid over a balcony for everyone to see...

I was in Vietnam in 1970 and there were "advisories" to watch for thefts of full 55 gallon drums of diesel fuel. It seems one of the local 85 lb "indigenous" population could pick up a full barrel and walk away with it! We had pictures of VC supply bikes with 500 lbs of rice bags going down the road.

Don't for a minute think this happens only in the third world...ya oughta see what your average homeless dude in LA can cram into/on top of a shopping cart and/or bicycle when he's heading for the recycler with the day's load of aluminum cans and returnable bottles.

It's pretty easy to see why the chinese are kicking our ass. You could give a guy a truck here and he would bitch about how high gas is. So you pay for the gas and he bitches about putting it in. While they do what ever it takes to make ends meet. I life lesson in those pictures. My .02$
