Now it's time for you to buy your own daily driver (no rental issues then) and work on getting your own truck/hot rod.

and, if I may be so bold as to ask, why is Dad footing the bill? Was there not insurance on the truck?

  2. I am currently working on another one. Hopefully done by the end of summer (but doubt it).

No there was, but the money was given to daddy. Not the shop.

  5. Personally speaking I do a lot of the work on my cars myself. If should something go wrong all I can say is "I screwed up" & do it over.Having to farm out the work & then publicly ripping on the guy who is trying to do the work, especially with parts that are worn or don't fit is NOT COOL!I think an apology is in order.

You only WISH I didn't have Hot Hues Burnt Orange Metallic in the gun right now.
we are painting the U.T. School of Automotive Engineering "Project X" Hybrid right now.

GIANT Bevo Stencil....Angry Painter..."Saw 'Em Off" in the back window...Painter went to U.T. School of Art...

Well, it's just how it went down. We gotta wait for the clear to cure 100 percent before we can sand it off. it should only take a couple weeks if the heat holds up.

My dad bought my first car... and he bought me lots of hot rod parts. No shame at all in that.
