Does anyone know what episode of the Munsters the Koach first appeared in? I remember Lily goes to a car lot and decides to buy two cars (a t-bucket and an old funeral coach) and have them made into one car, The Munster Koach. I'm working on a final project for a college cl*** and really need to figure out which episode this is from. Thanks.
Thanks, I tried that for the last hour and a half. Read them all, too. Even the Munster Koach sites don't tell which episode it first appeared in.
I found it guys! I did a google search "Herman Munster birthday" and found it at IMDB. Its from the episode "Rock-a-bye Munster, where Herman thinks Lily is pregnant. The Koach is a sub plot I guess. Anyway my cl***mates are gonna love this.
that's an easy one. it says "punk rods" on it, with a chrome knife with a little blood on it. here's a trivia question right back at you... what is the racers name that herman drags the coach against, and looses to?
his name was "leadfoot" baylor. when leadfoot sees the koach pull into the pits, he says "what's that ?" to herman. hermans reply is "oh, just an ordinary every day family car, with a 425 cubic inch engine, with 10 2 barrels." yeah, i've seen this episode way too many times...lol
and here's a bonus pic for even more extra credit. herman munster talking to leadfoot baylor in front of the koach
munster hambers unite hot rod herman episode is hot rod history check out these vintage drag clips from the show i met butch patrick aka eddie munster last year he said grampa always tried to get herman to peel out when they were in the coach on the set.
Desperate Housewife's on television now, is being filmed on the same "street". Shots have to framed to exclude the Munster house which is still on location minus its colorful inhabitants.
thanks everyone for your interest but if you need any more info please submit all questions in writing and send to 1313 Mockingbird Lane, Mockingbird Heights, CA 90666 thanks, eddie
"...coulda fooled me - I thought they'd brought back the Edsel..." There's a double VHS with six Munsters episodes including Hot Rod Herman that comes up regularly on ePay.
Sounds like a great cl***! ...just curious as to what college course would have a Munsters trivia question as part of the final project...?
don't forget the movie munster go home where herman enters the dragula in a british road race to uphold the munster family name hhmmm - bike tires on the front and drag slicks on the back with no tread and he wins a road race
hard to believe... what, with him being a frankenstien-like creature... with a vampire for a son and a dragon living under the steps. The nerve of those TV people... Next thing you're going to tell me is that the Monkee's weren't actually monkeys...
I met Butch Patrick a couple times. The last time I talked to him he said he was building a house about 20 mile from my house at a place called Monster World. They have pretty close replicas of the munster coach and coffin car. The also had a 1/3 mile dirt track. We used to race stockcars there until a couple years ago when the track closed. The track was called Monster Hall Raceway. Here's the website. http://www.monsterworldinc.com/
From what I heard It's on display at Vintage Ford in sac before it goes in to be re-done here in town
Firedome, to answer you question, I am doing a business plan for a Hot Rod He**** business. A 60's styled hotrod that would be contracted out to funeral homes to "deliver" our types to their final resting place.
Great CD to listen to in the shop. In between songs there is clips from the muster tv show and wicked burnouts.
Yeah,i saw it there a few weeks ago..along with the Lightening Bug and Kookie Kar.The Munster Coach has held up pretty well over the years, but i'm sure it was probably restored at some point.
Thanks, A.P. Those pictures are exactly what I was looking for. I had to add a couple more slides to my powerpoint presentation. The first round is on me.
