Just finished putting a roof on my Dodge.

It was pretty simple, I used some 1/2 pine for the curved supports and frame, and some door skin ply for the actual roof skin.

after I built the frame, I stapled and glued the 1/8 ply skin to it while it was installed on the truck to keep the roofline correct, and to keep the frame from any unwanted flexing.

After it all dried, I painted it with 3 coats of rustoleum. when the paint dried, I then used waterproof contact cement to adhere the canvas (used and army issue sack)

oh, and my buddy Sam came over and did a little pinstriping. Thanks Sambo!

I'd want a roof too...be a shame not to drive that when the weather's bad. Nice, nice looking truck!
