WOW!!!!! N-FREAKING- CREDIBLE....Man i really dig everything on the sedan especiall the brake pedal and tail light and I would dig seeing more pics of the motor... The whole car is just done to the fullest of kewlness.

  3. First off great series of photo's. the car has the look! all the right parts. then the fun starts with the details that keep you looking. that's all fun stuff! I probably would have stopped adding details sooner. shame on me, I'm like so many others.

    Yeah, cool! Love the tortoise!

Are the gas and fuel gauges custom oval ones, or round ones mounted behind the dash?

Doc, that's insane. I love it. What's the skinny on the house/showroom? Are you gonna take the plunge and show all this stuff off?

Thanks again guys. I know it's a little over the top, guess that's my OCD. I'll see if I can get some help posting a video pretty soon.

Scooby: I'm negotiating on a piece of land right now for the new
crib. I'm in no real hurry, but the house is getting crowded.

Chaz: Thanks man, I'll be in touch with you soon.

Lionsgarage: The flatty was built by Uncommon Engineering. The
drive, pulleys, and intake are all one offs by Steve.
He said he has about 400 hours of machine work in
    the motor.

Wingnutz: I think the mirror looks great, I'll try and get you a pic.

54belair: Our very own Chromedrat made the turtle for me.

Rem: The guages are the original housings. I sent them to Classic
and they put modern guts in the originals. You can't see it in
the pics, but the radio face reads "for best sound turn off radio
    and listen to engine".

They say jealousy is a curse and I am the cursed. I guess If I put in the time to be a Trauma Surgeon rather than a Soldier and a Paramedic I'd have lots of money to build awesome cars like these too.
Love those guage's, good to see you have a sense of humor and a good imagination, hell I'd happily drop patients off to you.

    Wow what a nice hotrod!

  24. Doc,
Beautiful car, I esp. like the pedals.

Can you tell us more about the scoop/air filter housing? It looks alot like the scool on the GBP dragster.

DOc's right when he says that you don't see all the details when you are standing next to it.
I saw it at Wayne's shop when he was tinkering with it and it's truly astounding to behold. At firt glance you see a very nice traditionl looking hotrod. Upon closer inspection you start laughing at all the unique details that blow your mind.
Quite a sense of humor invlolved here, too.
    All great work.
