Got my 53 chevy about 8 months ago, come to find out the clutch was shot so i had to pull the motor since it easier than pulling the whole rear torque tube ***embly out. I figured while I had the motor out I should clean things up a bit and clean out some sludge. Every thing had grease and sand on it! I think the pervious owner drove through the beach. I converted it from 6 to 12 volts and just freshened up things. Dont mind all the pollen it ****s in NJ

its not really textured or metallic it jus really copper lookin. i look like a shiny penny when you spray it, the brown i spray on the motor was dennis carpenter flathead bronze, it came out totally brown and as you can see it looks like a huge chocolate engine block. i used it as base to spray the copper over. the copper discolored a little around the exhuast manifold but its stayin pretty good.
