Hey all, just though that I would drop a note here inviting all who can come to the second annual Blue Light Station Show and Shine. The show is on the 28th of July in Preston. Registration is free and you can get a form on my company's site, www.strawberrycreekent.com and click on "Car Show", or at the show site at 7:30 am the day of the show. There will be food and drink as well as raffles and a fund raiser for a domestic and ***ual abuse foundation. We are really trying to make this a great show with that small town feel. I get tired of the big shows with fancy displays and all the hype. This show is all about chilling with people that are like you and want to enjoy their cars/bikes. We do not have any driving events, things like a burn out contest are in the works though, and the show ends in time to enjoy some of the other events that take place that same weekend like a parade and side walk sales and even a rodeo if you enjoy that. Hope to see some of you there! (Especially since it is free and there are awards!)

I was reading back over the above post and it seems like I may have over emphasized the small town show aspect. I just wanted to add that we had 65 cars come last year for our first year and the show takes place on the same weekend as a bunch of other events. There is a parade on main street, we have special permission to include as many cars as we want, a rodeo, if you are into them... not really my bag, side walk sales, etc. Also, though it is not related to our type of hot rodding... or maybe hot rodding at all, there will be a db drag contest for car stereos. (It was easy to plan and doesn't affect my insurance like a burn out contest will!) Last year we had a couple traditional style rods, more towards the "rat" ***le, come and they were a hit. They did a little flame thrower display which was really awesome! If there are some of the "Throttlers" reading this, it would be cool to have you guys join us!

    Thanks,

    Panelrodder
