I was checking Discovery channels site to see if they will replay the old school episode sometime soon, (want to tape it) and stumbled across this ( kinda funny I think) -

...WELL IT LOOKS LIKE MONSTER GARAGE HAS COME TO AN END FOR ME.........WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL LAST WEEK......BIG SCHWAG CAME AND GAVE THE TEAM THERE TOOLS....NO BIGGIE......WHAT S UCKS IS HE WAS WEARING A WEST COAST CHOPPERS SHIRT AND WAS TOLD BY THOM BEERS TO TAKE IT OFF BEFORE HE WENT ON CAMMERA....HE ALSO TOLD THE MG CREW WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL "NO MORE WEST COAST CHOPPERS S**T ON THE SET"......WELL I DONT KNOW WHAT MOTIVATED HIM TO DO THIS AND I DONT REALLY CARE.......I DO KNOW THAT I AM WEST COAST CHOPPERS AND MY SHOP HAS BUSTED A S S OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS TO MAKE MONSTER GARAGE WHAT IT IS TODAY.......NO WCC MEANS NO JESSE ......THANX GUYS.....I APPRECIATE ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!!.......WFW.......

LOL, You know my buddy always tells me did you see this and did you see that? And I don't know how many times I say "I don't watch TV, I have way to much other constructive stuff to do" So I guess it doesnt bother me either way.

I went to the discovery site to check it out and they had deleted a lot of posts and even some people's screen names! But having known Jesse for a long time (since before WCC) and having worked for Beers on the TV show DRIVESHAFT, I can tell you two things.

1. Jesse always stands up for himself.

2. Beers is 90-percent EGO-driven.

It was just a matter of time before that became a really bad combination...

 

Well, if Jessie was heading that way, I'd sure as hell back him. Now we have the new "We stole this guy's car and look what we did to it" show. That ought to give the kids ideas of what to do on a boring saturday night. Just steal a car as a joke. SHOOT the asshole that thought that one up! Better yet, STEAL HIS FRIGGIN CAR and give it to a bunch of juvies to play with.

 

Well i guess thats to bad. When ever I stayed up late I would watch it. Now what are people on the HAMB gonna complain about? Hmmmmm....there is a whole big planet out there...Im sure something will come up.

Does not matter. Someone else will pickup the slack and provide Jesse another creative outlet IF he wants it. Discovery knows deep within its meeting rooms what is right and what will happen if they don't bother to pick up another season. That said, I think this is all bullshit. I happen to work for one of the larger networks and there is no way in hell they would let MG go. It is their biggest producer ever. Its a financial decision.

Egos or not, one man does not run a company (unless you're David Eisner).

I think this is a fan having fun with fans or a misunderstanding blown out of proportion.

Not a hoax. One of the guys in the car club I am in works at Monster Garage called me well before this post to tell me what was going on. I think it was to keep me from putting my foot in my mouth if I ended up going over there for lunch sometime this week...

 

Anyone have the Chevy episode on tape that might be interested in copying($)?

I dont think the show will be off the air, just no more Jesse, more like the dork on Monster House..

 

When the show first came on it was really cool. Then all the normal people jumped on the band wagon and I hated the general public for being scensters about the show and anything related to it including what we all do here. Then I got over that and looked at it from a childs view who has trouble in school and does not do well until he gets to shop class or art class. Here is a guy who can be a role model for those kids like barris and big daddy was for me. To bad the show is gone now but kudos to jessie for standing his ground and telling corperate to kiss his ass.

 

Well now maybe he can get back to building some bikes.
