Ya know what?..... sometimes you forget the people closest to you........I absolutely HAVE to give a shout out to my right hand on this thing, Doornail Dave....... he's been working like a dog getting the bands together, and if all the bands weren't enough, Dave is going to be a spinnin discs all day and all nightn when there ain't live music bein played...........Krupa and Buzzard, I think my car likes Austin, at least the few streets that are smooth she likes..........Hamilton, I KNEW you could do it.......does my heart good to keep a readin this post.......now, if we could only get RF out here........

Dennis, I am gonna try like hell to make the trip out in the coupe.. I will be coming from Ohio, the mapquest siad its like 14 hours, knock off a couple (Hotrod and all). and take off in the evening and make tracks twards Detroit for the Billetproof. I dunno, might just hang out in Koolsville. Are you gonna be tattooing? Jime just laid out a Hotrod pinup gurl on my arm... Love his girls! If i came a couple days earlier could we work out some ink? Rob, once is not enough for wellington......I would think, that as the EDITOR of a major magazine, You would be dying to be here reporting a cutting edge event such as this......c'mon, Jimmie will be here.........and yes, if anyone wants to get here a day or two early, I will be tattooing....... I just wish the show would run itself so I could have time to tattoo DURING the show........but I'll be much too busy smoozing and taking care of famous magazine types........don't be scared Rob......

 

What are the motels to get a room at??...Wellington?...Arkansas City??......I need to get a room now.....so I don't have to sleep in a park....

It means a lot to me that anyone would even consider coming out here to this show..... I have had the idea to do this kind of thing for awhile, just had to get a shop together to get it done..... Johnny, I hate the 'tribute show' things..... that's why I've never been to one. I think the biggest tribute is that this kind of thing still exists because of them......Germ, I fully understand the travel limitations in a year's time. But your care packages are very much appreciated.........I don't just hand those prizes out to anyone, they have to fully appreciate them first........looking forward to getting the grill for Miss Bunni's car, pm me with details.......maybe James White can haul it out here....Jimmie, tell Dean his Kansas girl pines for his fish and chips......we'll race the roadster down Main at midnight........Buzzard, don't let my tires get flat spots.........a chicken fried, steak eatin', truck drivin' sonofabitch............

 

There ain't much for motels here in wellington....... but here goes..... The Steakhouse motel is already full......but here are the numbers to several others.....the Oak Tree Inn-620 3268191. the Sunshine Inn-620 326 8944. Wellington Motor Lodge620 326 2255. these places are pretty clean, just don't expect the Hilton and you'll be OK........Radshit, Just don't haul a trailer through Oklahoma and you'll be alright......... If it weren't for the state of Oklahoma, I'd be really close to the great state of Texas........ If it weren't for the Desert, the people in SoCal would be a lot closer to me.........

 

Well, we know those SoCal fellas don't like travelin' much further east then Las Vegas.....

Thanks for the Hotel hook-up....I'll be making reservations tomorrow for a couple rooms....and I'm goin to see if we can leave early to catch some local weekday action there in Wellington and Ark City....maybe pester Jeff finally and see that bitchin shop of his....

 

If Dennis wants, I'll drag the Fly up Rad. That way we'll have 2 cars there.

If not, I may drive up anyway. I have to leave for Dallas the next day.
