WOW!!! You people "Kicked Ass". It is simply amazing the kind of friendships this place we call the HAMB has spawned.
The dedication of all you people working togeather for a very special friend, and a very special car I might add.

It was unfortunate for me to have to choose between going to my sons wedding in Las Vegas that same weekend, or participating in a unbeliveable display of unselfish dedication from all the people involved. You people ROCK

I don't know what else to say....I'm in awe.

 

I can hear it now, all the young, single girls in the midwest crying into their pillows. No, it wasn't RACE that got married, it was oldest son Chris.

Rudy, glad to have you back. Everyone missed you on Saturday...... we even saved alittle bit of sanding for you. They didn't want you to feel left out of all the fun

Thanks to everyone for all the kudos. I'm thrilled with the way he's turned out so far and it's gotten me REAL motivated to "finish" him.

Hey Denise, looks great!

My thrash ended in disaster. Found out my motor needs rebuilt about midnight on saturday. One step forward and 10 steps back... Dad has another motor, and hopefully next weekend we'll get it put into the car.

Looked like a blast, wish I could have been there!

 

For all those that wish they could have been there.......I still have plenty of sand paper, cold beer, cookies, and miles of bodywork that needs to be sanded. Come on over anytime, the garage is always open.

Satinblack, speaking of cookies, I was thinking about you on Saturday while I was opening up one of the huge tupperware containers of cookies thinking to myself that too bad you weren't around cuz you really wanted to try one of my cookies.

How many cookies did ya make??? I was munchin on em allday and took some home too...guess I shoulda took a bunch more...I ran out saturday nite.

 

I lost count on how many batches I made. I was a baking fool on Thursday nite between all the cookies and brownies. I left the rest for Frank and his lovely wife Sharon to enjoy. The next huge batch will be taken to Charlotte for KustomBuilder and Kris for all his hard work on the hood. I'm hoping he'll share some with Paul Beck since he helped Mike on Sunday with it.

I'm glad everyone enjoys them

thats good news Denise cause i did'nt get any cookies on saturday . i did'nt want to ruin my dinner with too much desert so i was waiting till afterwards but by then i was rushing to try and get the hood done and never got a chance to munch after dinner.

Your going to have so many cookies in a couple of weeks that some will go stale before you can eat them all. I'll make you quite a few different "flavors" too Any favorites?

 

i'm not prejudice against any cookie but i do like chocolate chip, butterscotch chip, peanut butter or even a chocolate chip peanut butter. that sounds yummy!! can't wait....

Brush, Have been away from the computer for a while. Regarding your offer for adoption, lets make some plans to get that done. You won't have to make your own bed just do some of your great artwork on the walls of my shop and you can have the run of the place. Make sure you come for the next work session or garage crawl and I'll have a wall all cleaned off for you and the adoption papers ready for you to sign. haha!!!

Denise, Thanks for reminding me about the cookies. I just went and got a few to eat as I type. There aren't but only a very few left so if you want to stay in my good graces you can fire up the stove again (just kidding). BTW the bread in the cookie container works great, they are still soft just like fresh baked.

I can tell you don't spend much time cooking, do you Frank? You cook soup on the stove and cookies are BAKED in the OVEN my dear. I think you need to adopt me instead and I'll bake you cookies for the rest of your life

Aint nuthin like HRLC cookies baked in your own overn.
I can hardly wait for August to get my next "cookie" fix.
