Today I found an old Chevy but need help identifying it. I'm guessing late '40's early 50's. It has a windshield visor and flared rear fenders. I'm also thinking the windshield is split in the middle.Any ideas?

No, I was looking for some stolen ATV's with some cops and saw it in a storage lot. I don't even know if I could buy it, but it looks cool and complete with no real visible rust.

  3. Hard to say what it might be without a picture. There is some good tin in that area. I have fond memories of my high school days in Midland. I still have family there and visit them once or twice a year.

if the front fenders weren't flared and the rears were, I would think it would be a 49-51 chevy? Didn't they have a one piece windsheild after that?

go to carnuts.com or is it carnut.com? and look under chevys, under 1930, 1940, 1950 etc. You can figure it out.

Thanks. Went to carnut.com. Its a '51 Fleetline. Gonna try to get it tomorrow. Wish me luck. Probably some old man that wants to hang onto it for sentimental value.
