I'll be in town starting tomorrow afternoon for work and have alittle bit of free time. I was wondering about that cruz nite that you guys go to on Thursday evenings. Where is it at and how far from Orlando....specificly the International Plaza Resort on International Drive? Does any HAMB folks from Orlando normally attend? If so, got room in your ride for me? I won't have a car so I need to be chauffeured to and from. Also, what is going on Saturday afteroon/evening? I'm free from 2pm on Saturday till my flight leaves at noon on Sunday and was looking for something car related to do besides OldTown which I would use as a last resort. Any garage crawls/BBQ's or partys planned?? Come on...help a hot rod gal have a good time in the warm Florida sunshine.
Don't know which un you're talking aboot. I work on I-Drive. Gimme a buzz, we'll find something to do. I am NOT going to go to Old Town, no way, but they are habving the huge Bruce Rossmeyer's cruise on Saturday, I don't wanna go to that either. Seeya.
Hey Gorgeous! The Thursday night gathering over here is right at a 80+ miles from where your staying,.......straight West of Orlando on Highway 50. It starts filling up @ 4:30PM and starts clearing out around 8:00PM. Most likely to far to drive under the circumstances with the traffic on that 2-lane highway. It takes me 2+ hours to make the trip in my Coupe one way. I know that some of the guys are not going to make it this week due to other commitments. We are also having a HAMB gathering on Sunday morning from 10AM-1PM over here at 'Elderberrys'.
OK, I guess I'll just hang out at the bar poolside on Thursday BUT I'm in the process of trying to change my flight home till Sunday evening anyway instead of noonish SO if that happens I'll contact you to get directions to 'Elderberrys'. I'll probably know something once I talk to the counter persons at NWA tomorrow. It would be nice to see you again and meet some of the other FL HAMB guys.

Plant City has the monthly gathering this Sat, the 19th. That's about 45 miles down I-4 towards Tampa from International Dr, usually a few hundred cars. Nice show in the old downtown area. Cecil (of Hercules Motor Cars) has his refurbished movie theater open and ready to talk hot rod.
Ill be at Jerrys Tap room at some point saturday afternoon. Its a dump but it makes me feel good about myself Mike

WOW, that's a wonderful offer Roger. Hopfully I can work out a ride on this end so you and your wife are not driving back and forth, it's a long way. My girlfriend who works at NWA has my return flight info and was going totalk to a supervisor regarding changing my flight without any penaltys. She was able to bump me up to first class for the flight down here. I'll PM you when I hear back from her, tomorrow probably. Thanks so much for the offer.
I'm bummed. Not one available seat on any NWA flight out in the afternoon or evening. Looks like I'm stuck leaving at noon-ish. Thanks again Roger for the offer but looks like I'm going to have to wait till next trip to visit the West Coast Poor Boys of Florida. You guys have fun on Sunday.....I'll be thinking of you. The good news is I will be able to hang out with the Rumblers on Saturday afternoon/evening. Hopfully I make my flight the next morning
