CONGRATS RAVEN!!! Now go win that Stout and Dinner!!! See it for yourself done at the RUST REVIVAL JUNE 2nd!!!
That was fun. A special thanks to all who helped me make it happen, all my club mates in the Missouri Chapter of the Knucklebusters. COS loford Norm Blue Demon vinsanity And my friends that aren't club members, Porkn****** 'Young' Ben KC****o Of course my lovely wife who lets me play without much complaining and my youngest son, Max who is a legend in his own time. Without their help, I'd be discouraged and way behind schedule. Man, I hope I didn'tmiss anybody... Now it on to the body work and shiney paint! I plan on meeting up with the Hamber that bought sodas38's T that is the sister-ship to this one at the Rust Revival. Yeah, Breeder, I'm still coming even though I haven't had time to register... r
I had the pleasure of seeing this rolling frame with the body off of it in Ravins garage. "It is a work of art" "Very nice workmanship" Congrats. Carl Hagan
I had to take a run in it even with the body off for work and paint. Just couldn't helpmyself. Thanks Carl for the nice words. Too bad I see very imperfection there. r
Hey I didn't do much. Congrats bro. So I'm the little guy is rideing with mrs ****** and me to the rust revival. Not gonna be much room in the T.
Looks like I owe someone a dinner and a stout. At a baby. Congrats. I need pictures of the 2 roadsters together at the Rust Revival!! Roadburner1 should be there.
killer...looking forward to seein it in person! who ever gets to revival first, remind me and i will be sure to save a spot next to it so the cars can be parked together....
Looks great, I'm glad to see it running under it's own power. I'm sorry I won't be out in the areaq thins year to see it in person. It sure has come a long way in the last year. Mike
Awesome man, that is the best feeling! But don't drive it too much-you'll never get the body done Looks great, congrats Dan
R, Congrats! Thanks again for letting me be part of this build as well as the club! I'm already Looking forward to the next project! Thanks for tolerating my "many" questions and smart *** remarks! Later, Vince
Wow, you guys make me feel like I'm getting an Oscar, so many people to thank and all the kind words.thanks. The body is an old Poliform (gl***) that I got from scarliner after he decided it was too small for his stature (he went to a coupe). After building this, I have decided that my wife (5'2") fits in it better than me. That's why I put sliders on the driver's seat. Tootall, that a real bummer. I was just wondering when you were coming out this way this year. Captain Kanada, you crack me up. kropduster, I'll be the one with the roadster tow-barred behind my grey '54 Chevy truck. I want to see both T's sitting next to each other, too. Sodbuster, funny you should call me that. About ten minutes after the last test run, the cops showed up. Sodas38, I won't hold you to it since you had to part with your project under duress. If it hasn't been sold by then, it will be at the drags. Yes, this one I built just to sell, so don't cry for me Argentina. I have an A sedan and coupe that will be follwing real soon in the build que. Vince, don't forget, there is always a smart-***ed remark waiting for you at my garage. r
I'll hold myself to it. It's much deserved anyway. P.S. I've been sloooowly gathering parts for a lakes modified and I just bought my 25 Dodge touring body back, so I am a step closer. Everything is in storage right now until we find a new home. The 38 Chevy is sleeping in a storage shed as we speak. I'm sure it would like to see light again soon.
I CRANKED the sound on my logitechs and my wife yelled from the other room "You watching the speed channel again?!" so you must be doing something right! Good stuff !
Well Sodas old roadster is getting an interior as we speak. We got the floor done about 11:30 pm Thurs night at took it to our buddy who will to the s***ching friday morning. Its painted and running. We have not driven it yet I fiqure we can test drive it on the way to the revival It was supposed to be satin black?? It is still shiny. If I knew it was not going to turn out satin I may have spent a little more time on the body work.....................or not. See you fellas there!!
we will have a van here with everything you need to repair things!!!other then parts of course itll be there all day friday and sat if anyone breaks down! cant wait to see these 2 cars...thats what its all about!
