Sorry for the O/T post, but since I know alot of you maintain your own web-pages, I thought the HAMB a great resource.

I am starting my own business and I want to get my domain set-up.

Who do you guy's use to host?
    Opinions?
    How is the TJJ hosted?

Qwest Dex has an option for $100 a month.
The Co. I work for is going to try it out.
No set up fee & 3 web pages.
    That's one option for ya.

    $100 a month?!?!?? whoah!!!

I payed $230 or something for 2 YEARS of hosting through www.dreamhost.com ... With that i get TERRABYTES of data transfer per month, and many many Gigs worth of strage to use. They have Free video Streaming service, and an awesome feature with a BUNCH of site plug-ins, like free message boards, shopping cart software, chatting software, online portals, etc... all free, and all "one-click-installs", and they are basically exactly that... easy as pie.

I know i sound like a commercial, but i'm going to be with this company as long as they are in business, and frankly, they always are getting better and improving, and making their service better... and their technical support is second to none... i went through almost 15 different hosts before i found them, and i think they are WELL worth the $$$ in my opinion!

And if they ask what user or site referred you, my username there is "composimo", and my site is http://www.iconmedia.tv

    Thanks! :)

I have a colo'd server of my own. Depending on what you're after I can host your site for $5-$10 a month. I can do email as well.... You will though have to do the design of your site yourself, though I can set you up with some of the different web technologies like Joomla or WordPress if that's what you desire... Just PM me if you're interested.

I use godaddy.com, super easy to use, only $5 a month, not sure how much traffic I can handle though.

You might check with Byron Stack @ Byron's G***er Madness. He's a "computer guy" on top of being a "car guy". He used to help with the Shores and Hess A/GS Anglia. Also usta work with computers in the space program.

$1.99 a month if paid by the year, I have 3 sites hosted there and have plenty of traffic space and space for pages. All sites have more than five pages and picture gallery, forum, etc.

I used godaddy (still have one site there) but I DETEST the constant phone calls at home, emails trying to upsell me. hostforwebsite has NEVER bothered me and the sites are always up.
