Swap meets? There worth it!!

  1. Went to a swap meet here in salt lake were a friend was selling some loose hemi parts "parts i didnt need" this guy walks up and says i have a hemi i would like to sell. I checked it out and this is what i got! There is a lot of good stuff there and got it all for a grand!

    great find, thats a rediculous setup for that price. Lucky man. Are they 331's, or is that one a big block, looks to be, but I'm not hemi expert at all. Congrats on the find.

    Remeber when you always hear about "that guy" who stumbled into a helluva deal. Well today my friend, it is you!

    Great score...it brings hope there is still more out there, just need a means to find it.
     
  4. The 331 was a prior find. The 2 on the pallet are the ones from the deal they are both 392's 57 and 58 the 57 is a NE57 and the 58 is a 58C engine. one is missing the crank and two rods but all esle is there.
     
  5. Good score. About 8 years ago I landed a complete '58 392, and enough pieces to build one more, plus all the parts (minus a block) to build a third. All for $500. You've gotta love hard-core Ford lovers- they'll damn near throw the Mopar **** away!
