I got my roadster together again and on the road(only 8-9 mounths). While i was having motor buiilt i blew car apart, all the way.I put everthing new that i could on the rebuild. It's only money my friends tell me. The motor is a 34 "C" model Ford.I had chevy pistons, valve and valve springs. It has incerted rod and mains, full pressure oiling system. It has a Miller Schoefield OHV converson head,2-81 Strongberg carbs,a protonic dist.A tuned header with a small turbo muffer. It does not sound as good as the straight header.Peace in the Hood at all costs. It has a 200R4 trans then a QC. The Roadster is a 29 on 32 rails.Driving this car is a lot different than my 40.As Elvis said Don't be cruel. 40BCOOL
Very cool. Only one thing - ever think about maybe raking the windshield posts a bit? That's the best thing you can do to an A roadster, IMO, even makes stockers look *****in'. -Dave
I am going to replace windshield,it is only 5"tall.The wind, rainand every thing else hits you right in the eyes. And yes i am going to lean back new windshield. Thanks 40BCOOL
Is the gloss black on the shell the direction the rest of the body will eventually be? That'd knock me right out. You, sir, have built one of my fondest phantasies. And , if it gets shiny, you've done it exactly right. I tip my hat to you.
Right now plans are to leave it in primer.I got some health problems and getting this far took a lot out of me.Thanks for reply 40BCOOL
